De Bock, a manufacturer and distributor in the food sector, required a custom Odoo solution because its standard sales features couldn't accommodate their complex needs, specifically volume discounts calculated on the aggregate weight of multiple products. A custom module was implemented to address this, enabling weight-based tiered discounts, dynamically generating structured product variant codes from attributes, and allowing the storage and display of customer-specific product information and default sales routes on documents.
