Naduvi: Grootschalige productontdekking mogelijk maken met Shopify en Algolia

Naduvi.nl and Naduvi.de are e-commerce platforms specialising in home and lifestyle products, offering a curated selection from many different brands. The sites looked great, but the technical setup made daily management difficult.
De uitdaging
The previous websites were built on Shopify with a React framework and relied on Contentful and Metafield Guru. This created several bottlenecks:
- simple content changes required developers
- Shopify’s native search limited product display
- large collections couldn’t be filtered properly
- product data lived in multiple systems
Naduvi needed a setup that was easier to manage and powerful enough for their large catalogue.
Onze aanpak
1. Move to Shopify native
We transitioned content management from Contentful to Shopify’s built-in tools, giving the marketing team direct control over banners, texts and pages — without technical help.
2. Implement Algolia
Algolia removed Shopify’s product limits, enabling unlimited filtering and fast, relevant search across thousands of items.
3. Streamline product data
We connected Metafield Guru to display inventory counts and delivery times directly on product pages, ensuring accurate information across both NL and DE stores.
4. UX & checkout improvements
We added swatches, wishlist functionality, a simplified checkout flow and Google Tag Manager for solid tracking.
Het resultaat
Both websites are now easier to manage and far more scalable. Customers can browse large collections without limits, product data is consistent, and the team can update content independently. While metrics remain confidential, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and Naduvi is ready for the next phase of growth.
This project turned technical complexity into operational freedom. With Shopify, Algolia and smarter data handling, Naduvi finally has platforms that can keep up with their ambitions.
